Terms & Conditions

Zambid is an online live social commerce marketplace that enables buyers and sellers to conduct live shopping events, purchase products, communicate in real time, and complete transactions through the Zambid platform.

Zambid provides technology services only.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, Zambid is not the owner, manufacturer, distributor, or reseller of products listed by independent sellers.

Zambid facilitates transactions between buyers and sellers and provides payment processing, dispute management, and buyer protection services.

By creating an account, browsing the Platform, listing products, participating in live streams, or purchasing products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions and all related Zambid policies, including our Privacy Policy and our Buyer & Seller Protection Policies.

If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

For the purposes of these Terms:

• Platform means the Zambid website, mobile application, APIs, and related services.
• Buyer means any registered user purchasing products.
• Seller means any approved user listing or selling products.
• Live Show means a livestream hosted by a seller through Zambid.
• Order means a completed purchase transaction.
• Escrow means the temporary holding of buyer funds by or through Zambid or its authorized payment partner until the applicable release conditions are met.
• Dispute means a claim filed by a buyer or seller regarding an order.
• Business Day means any day excluding weekends and public holidays in Pakistan.

Users must:

• Be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority under applicable law.
• Provide accurate information.
• Comply with applicable laws.
• Maintain only one personal account unless otherwise approved.
• Complete identity verification when requested.

Zambid reserves the right to reject or terminate any account.

Users agree to:

• Keep login credentials confidential.
• Maintain accurate profile information.
• Promptly update contact details.
• Notify Zambid of unauthorized account access.

Users are responsible for all activity conducted through their accounts.

Before selling, sellers must:

• Complete identity verification (such as CNIC or other government-issued identification).
• Provide bank account information for payouts.
• Accept the Seller Agreement.
• Comply with applicable tax obligations.
• Provide accurate business information where applicable.

Zambid may request additional documentation at any time.

Buyers agree to:

• Provide accurate delivery information.
• Use lawful payment methods.
• Refrain from fraudulent chargebacks or payment disputes.
• Inspect delivered items promptly and report issues within the specified timeframes.

To promote trust between buyers and sellers, Zambid uses an escrow-style payment process.

1. Buyer payments are collected by Zambid or its authorized payment service provider at checkout.
2. Funds are held until:
   • the buyer confirms receipt and acceptance of the item, or
   • the buyer confirmation period expires without a dispute, or
   • a dispute is resolved in accordance with Zambid’s policies.
3. Sellers are not entitled to payment before the applicable release conditions are satisfied.
4. If a dispute is opened, funds may remain on hold until the investigation concludes.
5. Zambid may reverse or withhold payments where fraud, policy violations, or legal requirements apply.

Regulatory notice: Where required by applicable law, escrow or payment holding services may be provided through licensed payment institutions or partners rather than directly by Zambid. Pakistan’s e-commerce policy emphasizes consumer protection, transparent payment processes, and marketplace dispute mechanisms.

Eligible buyers may receive a refund if:

• The item was never delivered.
• The wrong item was delivered.
• The item is materially different from the listing.
• The item is counterfeit.
• The item arrives significantly damaged due to seller packaging or handling.
• Essential parts or accessories are missing.
• The seller refuses to fulfill the order after payment.

Refunds are subject to Zambid’s investigation and evidence requirements.

The Money-Back Guarantee does not cover:

• Buyer’s change of mind.
• Incorrect size selection where accurately described.
• Minor cosmetic differences disclosed in the listing.
• Damage caused by buyer misuse after delivery.

Unless otherwise specified:

• Buyers have 4 hours after confirmed delivery to inspect the item and report eligible issues.
• If no dispute is raised within the applicable period, the order may be treated as accepted and payment released to the seller.

Zambid may extend or shorten this period for certain product categories.

Sellers must:

• Ship products within the stated handling time.
• Accurately describe items.
• Upload genuine photographs.
• Disclose defects.
• Sell only authentic products.
• Honor accepted orders.
• Respond promptly to buyer inquiries.
• Maintain accurate inventory.

Sellers must not:

• Sell counterfeit goods.
• Misrepresent products.
• Manipulate reviews.
• Engage in fraudulent transactions.
• Circumvent the Platform by requesting off-platform payments.

During live broadcasts, sellers shall not:

• Make false or misleading claims.
• Display prohibited products.
• Encourage off-platform transactions.
• Use offensive, discriminatory, or illegal content.
• Misrepresent pricing or availability.

Zambid may suspend or terminate live broadcasts that violate these rules.

Zambid may charge:

• Marketplace commissions.
• Payment processing fees.
• Promotional fees.
• Subscription fees.
• Advertising fees.

Applicable fees will be disclosed before they become effective.

Zambid may suspend or terminate accounts for reasons including:

• Fraud.
• Counterfeit products.
• Abuse of the refund process.
• Repeated policy violations.
• Payment fraud.
• Harassment.
• Intellectual property infringement.
• Legal or regulatory requirements.

Funds associated with suspended accounts may be held pending investigation where permitted by law.

All software, trademarks, logos, graphics, databases, designs, videos, text, and other Platform content are the exclusive property of Zambid or its licensors.

Users receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to access and use the Platform for its intended purpose only.

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• Zambid provides the Platform on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
• Zambid does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
• Zambid is not responsible for the quality, legality, safety, or authenticity of products sold by independent sellers.
• Zambid’s aggregate liability arising from any claim shall not exceed the fees actually received by Zambid in connection with the relevant transaction, except where prohibited by law.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Any dispute shall be resolved through the courts or other dispute resolution mechanisms specified by applicable Pakistani law, unless the parties agree to another lawful process.

Zambid may modify these Terms from time to time.

Material updates will be communicated through the Platform or by other reasonable means. Continued use of the Platform after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
